While accidents happen the majority of poisoning are preventable!
According to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) the number one cause of pet poisonings are still human medications.

Pets can be poisoned by foods, plants and chemicals. Below are a couple of list of the most common offenders. The internet has made it possible for you to do a quick and easy search to find out what is harmful and what is not. But preparation makes the biggest difference. Lock those items in your garage or under your skin in a proper cabinet. Before planting any vegetation ask your local garden center if the item is on the toxic list.
